This guide explains how to install the Deusbot Expert Advisor in MetaTrader 4, configure it for the three supported indices, and activate it with your Deusbot license.

Before continuing, MetaTrader 4 should already be connected to the intended demo or live trading account, with a separate chart open for each of the broker’s CAC40, DAX40, and S&P 500 index CFDs.

Before you start

Deusbot runs inside the desktop version of MetaTrader 4. The MT4 web and mobile applications cannot run the Expert Advisor.

Complete this guide on the same Windows machine used for the MetaTrader 4 guide. If you prepared a VPS, complete these steps inside its Remote Desktop session. If you chose to test temporarily on your personal computer, Deusbot can operate only while the computer is powered on, connected to the internet, and MetaTrader 4 remains open.

Have the following ready

  • MetaTrader 4 connected to the intended trading account, with the three required charts open.
  • Access to your Deusbot membership account on your personal computer, with an active trial or paid license.
  • The CAC, DAX, and SPX base position sizes you intend to use, as shown in the Deusbot calculator.

Install the Deusbot Expert Advisor

  1. On your personal computer, open your Deusbot membership account and go to the License tab.
  2. Download the latest Deusbot Expert Advisor .ex4 file.
  3. If you are using a VPS, copy the downloaded .ex4 file from your personal computer and paste it onto the VPS desktop through the Remote Desktop window.
  4. In MT4, open File and select Open Data Folder.
  5. Open the MQL4 folder, then the Experts folder.
  6. Place the Deusbot .ex4 file inside the Experts folder.
  7. Restart MT4. Alternatively, open the Navigator with Ctrl+N, right-click Expert Advisors, and select Refresh.
  8. Confirm that Deusbot is now listed under Navigator → Expert Advisors.

Allow the Deusbot API

  1. Open Tools → Options, or press Ctrl+O.
  2. Open the Expert Advisors tab.
  3. If Allow automated trading is enabled, disable it for now.
  4. Enable Allow WebRequest for listed URL.
  5. Add the following address exactly as written: https://api.deusbot-trading.com
  6. Click OK to save the settings.
The WebRequest permission allows Deusbot to communicate with its API. Keeping AutoTrading disabled prevents the EA from placing or managing trades while Deusbot is being configured on the three charts.

Attach and configure Deusbot

Configure Deusbot on the three charts prepared in MT4. Repeat the steps below for the CAC40, DAX40, and S&P 500 charts. Symbol names may vary depending on your broker.

  1. Select one of the three chart tabs.
  2. In Navigator → Expert Advisors, double-click Deusbot or drag it onto the selected chart.
  3. In the Common tab, enable Allow live trading.
  4. Open the Inputs tab.
  5. Change only Position size (€/pt | $/pt) and enter the base position size corresponding to that index from your chosen setup, shown in the 2 – SETUP tab of the Deusbot calculator.
  6. Leave all other inputs at their default values and click OK.
  7. Repeat these steps on the other two charts, using the corresponding base position size for each index.

The values entered in Position size (€/pt | $/pt) are base position sizes. For each trade, the strategy multiplies the corresponding base value by a coefficient to determine the position size actually used.

Before continuing, confirm that the Matching License shown by the calculator corresponds to your active license. Base position sizes above the maximum values available with your current tier require a higher tier. When upgrading, the unused time on your current license is converted into credit and deducted from the upgrade price.

Activate Deusbot

If the Expert Advisor interface displays Activation pending and provides an activation code, complete the following steps:

  1. Copy or note the complete activation code displayed by the EA.
  2. On your personal computer, open your Deusbot membership account and select the License tab.
  3. If the license is currently linked to another MT4 installation, click Move license to display the activation field.
  4. Enter the code in the ACTIVATION CODE field and click Save.
  5. Return to MT4, or to the Remote Desktop session if you are using a VPS, and allow a short moment for the EA to update its status.

Only one MetaTrader 4 installation can use your license at a time. You cannot run Deusbot simultaneously on both your VPS and your personal computer.

Enable AutoTrading

Enable automated trading only after the complete setup has been reviewed.

  1. Confirm that MT4 is connected to the intended demo or live trading account.
  2. Check that Deusbot is attached to the CAC40, DAX40, and S&P 500 charts.
  3. Review the ‘Selected size’ entered on each chart and confirm that the correct EUR or USD calculator value was used.
  4. Confirm that the Deusbot interface no longer displays Activation pending.
  5. Click the AutoTrading button in the main MT4 toolbar to enable it.
  6. Confirm that none of the three Deusbot interfaces displays a red warning message.

Enabling AutoTrading allows Deusbot to place and manage trades. On a live account, these operations involve real funds.

Final checks

MT4 setup

  • The correct trading account and server are connected.
  • The three required spot index charts remain open.
  • Deusbot is attached to each chart.
  • AutoTrading is enabled.

  • Each chart uses the correct calculator value and currency.
  • The Deusbot API URL is allowed.
  • This MT4 installation is linked to the active license.
  • The EA no longer reports that activation is pending.
MetaTrader 4 must remain open, connected to the internet, and logged into the intended trading account while Deusbot is expected to monitor or manage trades. Closing MT4, closing one of the three charts, removing Deusbot from a chart, or disabling AutoTrading stops Deusbot on the affected chart.

MetaTrader 4 is now connected to your trading account, with Deusbot active on all three index charts.

If the setup is running on a VPS, leave MT4 open and close only the Remote Desktop window. Do not sign out of Windows or shut down the VPS. MT4 and Deusbot will continue running after you disconnect.

If you are testing temporarily on your personal computer, keep the computer powered on and connected to the internet, with MT4 and the three charts open.
